Qscription Technologies ("we," "our," "us," or "Qscription") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA/CPRA"), and how to contact us.

1. Who is the data controller

For the purposes of GDPR and UK GDPR, the data controller is:

Qscription Technologies Inc.

Registered Office: 8 The Green, Ste R, Dover, DE 19901, USA

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer; for privacy-related correspondence, please use the address above and we will route your request to the responsible person within 30 days.

2. Categories of personal data we collect

  • Identity data: first name, last name, professional title.
  • Contact data: business email, telephone number, organization.
  • Inquiry data: the content of any message you send through the contact form or by email.
  • Technical data: IP address, approximate geolocation derived from IP, browser type/version, operating system, screen size, language, and the pages and time of your visit.
  • Browser storage data: your light or dark display preference, and, only if a page offers a third-party embed and you make a choice about it, that choice. Both are kept in your browser's localStorage and are not sent to us. See section 6.

3. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR Article 6)

4. Your rights

If you are in the EU, UK, EEA, or Switzerland, you have the rights under GDPR / UK GDPR to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you (Article 15).
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data (Article 16).
  • Erasure ("right to be forgotten"): to ask us to delete data we no longer need a lawful basis to keep (Article 17).
  • Restrict our processing in specific circumstances (Article 18).
  • Data portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format (Article 20).
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21).
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing (Article 7).
  • Lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority (the list is at edpb.europa.eu).

California residents have analogous rights under CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and limit use of personal information, and to non-discrimination for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

To exercise any right, send your request via our contact form and mark the message "Privacy Request". We will respond within 30 days and may ask for proof of identity proportional to the sensitivity of the request.

5. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with the following categories of recipients, under written agreements that bind them to comparable confidentiality and security obligations:

  • Hosting and CDN providers: the static-site host on which qscription.tech runs, plus Cloudflare (CDN, DDoS protection, edge caching).
  • Form-submission infrastructure: the form-processing provider (Web3Forms) that relays contact-form, privacy-request, and job-application submissions to our internal mailboxes.
  • Embedded video: one blog article embeds a YouTube video in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). The site no longer embeds a map; the "Get directions" and address links open Google Maps in a new tab, where Google's own privacy policy applies (see section 6).
  • Professional advisers and authorities: accountants, lawyers, and regulators when required by law.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use third-party analytics, retargeting, or advertising cookies. The site does not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or any equivalent.

6. Cookies and similar storage

qscription.tech does not set any first-party cookies. It uses at most two entries in your browser's localStorage. Neither is sent to us or to anyone else:

Name Purpose Type Duration
qs-themeRemembers whether you chose the light or dark display. Set only when you use the display toggle.Strictly necessary (a function you request)Until you clear browser storage or switch back.
qs_consent_v1Remembers your choice about third-party embeds. Set only if a page asks for consent to an embed and you choose; no page does at present.Strictly necessaryUntil you clear browser storage or reset it with "Cookie settings".

The following third parties receive requests when pages load and may set their own cookies:

Provider What we use it for When loaded Their privacy policy
YouTube (Google), privacy-enhanced modeA video embedded in one blog articleWhen that article is opened. YouTube receives your IP address; Google states it does not store information about visitors in this mode unless they play the video.policies.google.com
CloudflareCDN delivery, DDoS protection, and the icon library used on some pages (cdnjs)On every request (strictly necessary)cloudflare.com
Google FontsWeb font hosting (Inter, and Noto Sans on Japanese, Korean and Chinese pages)On page load. No cookies, but a request is made to fonts.googleapis.com which receives your IP addresspolicies.google.com

Links to Google Maps (for directions to our offices) load nothing on our pages. Google's privacy policy applies once you follow one. Apart from the privacy-enhanced video above, no page carries a third-party embed, so no consent banner is shown. If we add an embed that sets cookies when it loads, it will load only after you allow it, and you can change that decision at any time through Cookie settings in any page footer.

7. Mobile information & SMS (10DLC)

If you provide a telephone number through our contact form and tick the SMS-consent checkbox, you consent to receive calls, emails, and text messages from Qscription Technologies related to your inquiry, our services, and follow-up communications. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. To stop receiving SMS messages, reply STOP to any message; to request help, reply HELP. You may also use our contact form (mark the message "Privacy Request: SMS opt-out") to be removed from any list.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors who support our services (for example, telephony or customer-relationship platforms) is permitted only under written agreements that prohibit them from using the information for their own marketing or any unrelated purpose.

We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

SMS program Category Typical frequency Opt-out
Inquiry follow-upTransactional / customer care2–6 messages per inquiryReply STOP
Engagement schedulingTransactionalAs needed for a meetingReply STOP

Qscription does not operate a marketing-broadcast SMS program. All SMS we send is initiated by a live team member in response to your inquiry, and consent is captured per 10DLC / TCPA guidance via the opt-in checkbox on our contact form.

8. International data transfers

Qscription is established in the United States. When you correspond with us, your data is transferred from your country of residence to the United States. For visitors in the EU/UK, this transfer is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) in combination with supplementary measures including encryption in transit, minimization of stored personal data, and a US-EU Data Privacy Framework certification where applicable to the receiving processor. Sub-processors listed in section 5 maintain their own SCC / DPF coverage.

9. Security

We protect personal data with technical and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data: TLS 1.2+ in transit, role-based access controls on internal systems, vendor due-diligence before onboarding sub-processors, and a documented incident-response procedure. We will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours and affected individuals without undue delay if a personal data breach is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms.

10. Children

This website is intended for business audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our practices or applicable law change. The "Last reviewed" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent material change. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of the page for 30 days.

12. How to reach us

For any privacy question or to exercise any right described above, use our contact form (mark the message "Privacy Request") or write to either postal address in section 1. Please describe your request in as much detail as you are comfortable providing so we can route it to the right person.
